  • Do you accept my insurance?
We have purposefully decided to be an "out of network provider." Many providers who accept insurance have to compromise quality of care, due to the low reimbursement and parameters dictated by insurance companies. Although we do not submit claims to insurance companies, a "superbill" can be provided and submitted to your insurance company in order to receive reimbursement and/or count towards your out of network deductible, depending on your insurance plan. For some clients with high co-pays, they may find that with less frequency of visits, total cost of services over the plan of care is actually less than what they may pay using their in network insurance benefits. Establishing a plan that is comprehensive, implementable and feasible is done on an individual basis for each patient at the time of evaluation. We accept payment in the form of cash, credit/debit, FSA or HSA at time of service.
  • Do I need a referral?
A referral from a physician is not needed to schedule an evaluation or wellness visit. A patient can be seen for 30 days, in the state of South Carolina, without a referral. Many injuries heal within this time. If additional services are needed past the 30 day period, we can request a referral from a physician. Immediately following an operation, a referral from the doctor is indicated in order for healthcare providers to be on the same page.
